A Solid Foundation

Though San Francisco's Sugarman & Cannon opened on the day the Loma Prieta earthquake rattled the Bay Area, when it comes to criminal defense work, the lawyers' feet are firmly planted on the ground.

SAN FRANCISCO - Oct. 17, 1989, the day Sugarman & Cannon opened its doors, was more memorable than the lawyers would have liked. The Loma Prieta earthquake struck the Bay Area, killing more than 60 people.
