In often hostile family law, the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer in Pasadena has its weapons ready but also chooses to have an empathetic side.

PASADENA — Donald P. Schweitzer took a circuitous route to family law.

For nearly a decade, he was a gang homicide detective in Santa Ana. He then went to law school and spent eight years in the Orange County district attorney's office. In his first year there, he was assigned to the family law support unit.
