Marcus McDaniel likes to think of himself as part of the solution, not the problem.
That's why he ventured into full-time mediation last year, after 18 years of riding the "high" of trial work.
"The closest to that thrill was settling - and I get to settle cases a lot more often than I got to try a case as a litigator," he said.
