Don't Welcome Gangs Into the Political Process

Sure. Why not? Let us invite the La Cosa Nostra to present its view on local government contracts. Neo-Nazi gangs can give us input on sundry First Amendment matters. Mexican gangs surely have something to contribute on immigration matters.
Must we be so open-minded that our brains fall out?
