Judge's Supporters Say Remark About Reporter Was Hyperbole

SANTA ANA - An Orange County judge's comment that he would like to see a Los Angeles Times reporter taken out of his courtroom "with shackles and a big ball around his foot" has ignited a controversy, with some attorneys saying the statement was unprofessional and could lead to a state investigation.
