PURCHASE BRINGS NEW NAME TO ACCELERATED

Accelerated Networks Inc. acquired Occam Networks Inc. With this deal, the Occam subsidiary became the majority shareholder of Accelerated, and the company changed its name to Occam. The deal was worth $30 million and closed May 14.
