GM, DAEWOO MIX PARTS TO FORM NEW BUSINESS

General Motors Corp., Daewoo Motor Co. and the Daewoo Motor Creditors Committee have agreed to form GM Daewoo Auto and Technology Co., which will manufacture cars under the Daewoo name. General Motors and its business partners will hold a 67 percent stake in the company, while Daewoo creditors will own the remaining 33 percent. The deal was announced May 1.
