Audible Magic Corp. has secured $3 million in Series C financing from Florida Silicon Partners of Naples, Fla. Audible Magic of Los Gatos develops audio-fingerprinting technology that identifies music or audio clips by listening to them. The company's content-based identification technology allows click-through purchase of a CD, instant response to an advertisement, ranking and royalty-tracking of broadcast music, legitimate file-sharing and audio-enabled, search-engine capability.
