10th Circuit Hears Debate On Sentencing Leniency

DENVER - Lawyers here argued on Tuesday before an expanded panel of the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals about whether prosecutors violate the "plain language" of federal bribery statutes when they offer sentencing leniency to witnesses in exchange for criminal testimony against other defendants.
