Ventura Prosecutor Claims Victory in Judicial Race

VENTURA - The county's Chief Assistant District Attorney Kevin McGee claimed victory Tuesday as the county's 27th Superior Court judge. McGee, 45, beat Senior Deputy Public Defender Gary Windom, 48, for the open spot on the bench vacated by suspended Judge Robert Bradley, who did not run for re-election. McGee is set to take office Jan. 4.
