Father of Key Witness in Gang Trial Slain

The father of a key witness in an ongoing Los Angeles gang murder trial was shot dead as he answered his door in San Jose Friday night, and police are investigating whether the killing was carried out in revenge for the son's testimony, a spokesman for the San Jose police said.
