Panel Reverses Extradition for IRA Escapees

SAN FRANCISCO - A federal appeals court has overturned a controversial extradition order for three escaped Irish Republican Army terrorists in a ground-breaking ruling that allows courts to consider evidence of political or religious bias against Catholics in Northern Ireland's justice system.
