Local Bar Leaders Table Plans for a Voluntary Bar

MONTEREY - The group of local bar leaders who have struggled for months to design a statewide voluntary bar association to fill the gaps left by the crumbling State Bar of California voted overwhelmingly Friday to stop their work in hopes a fully functioning State Bar can be resurrected.
