School District Sued Over Controversial Letter

SAN DIEGO - Anti-tax activists filed suit in Superior Court on Monday against the San Diego Unified School District and its superintendent, alleging that a mass mailing on school district letterhead about a $1.51 billion school bond measure violates a state law that forbids expenditure of public of funds to advocate for bond initiatives.
