N.Y. Stock Exchange Decides to Abandon Mandatory Arbitration
SAN FRANCISCO - In what may be the death knell for mandatory arbitration of an array of discrimination claims in the securities industry, the New York Stock Exchange board of governors voted Thursday to cease arbitrating bias disputes as required in employment contracts.
