Employees Win Greater Right to Pursue Redress

SAN FRANCISCO - In a major shift in employment law, the California Supreme Court ruled Monday that an employee may sue for wrongful discharge in violation of public policy even when that policy is based on administrative regulations rather than a specific statute or constitutional provision.
