Court Overturns Verdict in 'Friendly Fire' Police Death
SAN FRANCISCO - The widow of a Palo Alto police reserve officer who was shot to death by a Mountain View police officer during a training exercise in 1994 will have to go back to court to seek damages after a state appellate court overturned a $3.25 million verdict against the city.
