Discipline Board: Jogging Judge Acted Improperly
A Riverside County judge abandoned his judicial duties and undermined public confidence when he routinely left the bench during his afternoon pretrial calendar - sometimes to jog on the courthouse stairs - while clerks entered pleas and executed documents imposing sentences, a disciplinary panel said Wednesday.
