San Diego state court judge nominated for federal bench

President Barack Obama on Thursday announced his pick of San Diego Superior Court Judge Cynthia A. Bashant to be the next federal judge in the Southern District, narrowing the number of vacancies without nominees in California to just one. Bashant, recommended by Sen.
