Enviro groups sue over proposed hotel in Presidio

The Presidio Historical Association and the Sierra Club have sued the federal agency that controls the Presidio National Park after it approved plans to build a large hotel complex in the heart of the historic army base.

The Presidio Historical Association and the Sierra Club have sued the federal agency that controls the Presidio National Park after it approved plans to build a large hotel complex in the heart of the historic army base.

The groups claim the development is inappropriate for the 1,400-acre park in San Francisco and that the Presidio Trust's board of directors wrongly altered zoning rules to push the hotel project through.
