9th Circuit to rule on release of Prop. 8 trial videotapes

The 9th Circuit plans to announce its decision Thursday on the public release of videotapes made of the 2010 district court bench trial challenging the Proposition 8 same-sex marriage ban, the circuit said Wednesday.

The 9th Circuit plans to announce its decision Thursday on the public release of videotapes made of the 2010 district court bench trial challenging the Proposition 8 same-sex marriage ban, the circuit said Wednesday.

The circuit did not disclose when it will file its main ruling on the question of whether the ban itself is constitutional.
