The 2nd District Court of Appeal on Wednesday revived a class action that claims Chevron USA Inc. failed to take the temperature of its gasoline at the pump, a practice that allegedly siphons hundreds of millions of dollars a year from consumers' wallets.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Carl J. West had dismissed the lawsuit in 2010.
