Solar energy startups lose out to mature companies

The solar energy industry saw significant venture capital investment and increased M&A activity last year, but much of that focused on more mature companies, not startups.

The solar energy industry saw significant venture capital investment and increased M&A activity last year, but much of that focused on more mature companies, not startups.


At the same time, attorneys involved in renewable investment deals predict the energy efficiency sector of the overall clean tech industry will become an increasingly prominent magnet for venture capital funding.
