Latham takes the lead on M&A deals in the West
Latham & Watkins LLP kept the top spot as the largest M&A adviser by volume in the West, according to a report issued by mergermarket on Friday.

PALO ALTO - Latham & Watkins LLP kept the top spot as the largest M&A adviser by volume in the West, according to a report issued by mergermarket on Friday.
The firm's five offices in California helped Latham close 98 deals in 2011, the report said. That's 16 more than Kirkland & Ellis LLP , which claimed the No. 2 spot.
