CPUC approves five energy contracts

The California Public Utilities Commission last week approved five photovoltaic and wind energy power purchase agreements in its first meeting of the year.
Contracts were approved between SunPower and Southern California Edison, NextEra Energy Resources and Pacific Gas and Electric, and Pattern Energy Inc. and San Diego Gas and Electric, together totaling over 1,088 megawatts of green power to be produced in-state for periods...
