U.S. Attorney Andre Birotte on Wednesday announced he selected an internal candidate as the new chief of the criminal appeals section.
Assuming the role next week is Curtis Kin, chief of the general crimes section since June 2010. Kin previously served as chief of the domestic security and immigration crimes section and joined the office in 2000.
