A group of eight car washes statewide settled an employment-related lawsuit Tuesday filed by the state attorney general's office in Los Angeles County.
The state, county and workers will share more than $1 million from the car washes, which did not pay workers the minimum wage or overtime and failed to give them breaks, according to the initial complaint. Harris v. NDR Inc. SC109852 (L.A. Super. Ct., filed Oct. 4, 2010).<...
