Reed Smith loses 5 partners in Silicon Valley to DLA Piper
A group of five corporate and intellectual property partners from Reed Smith LLP's Silicon Valley office have decamped the lightly staffed outpost for DLA Piper, according to sources inside and outside of both firms.

In its drive to beef up its corporate and intellectual property practices, DLA Piper has swiped five partners from Reed Smith LLP in Palo Alto, essentially gutting the firm's Silicon Valley presence.
