The legal sector lost 1,800 jobs nationwide in December, according to a preliminary report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
But the Labor Department offered a sliver of positive news. It revised November numbers to show the industry actually had added 400 jobs, up from 100 it initially reported.
