I was very dismayed to read the Daily Journal's ostensibly "news" article on the make-up of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. ("9th Circuit divide could deepen with new appointments," Jan. 3) The inflammatory rhetoric began with the first paragraph and the "threat" to the bench if "[President Barack] Obama gets his way" and is able to appoint jurists to the empty seats.
