Patent Issued for Human Cloning Process

SAN FRANCISCO - The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued a patent on a process for cloning human beings. Although at least one legal observer said it looked like a clerical error, the clear language of a patent the agency issued Aug. 24 would appear to honor a claim by Tufts College in Massachusetts to a process for cloning humans.
