Oil Companies Aim to Settle Lawsuits Over Storage Tanks

SAN FRANCISCO - Oil companies and an environmental group have proposed one of the largest Proposition 65 settlements in history. The proposed settlement consists of a series of agreements that would require the companies to spend nearly $100 million to address leaks from above- and below-ground gasoline storage tanks around California.
