Legal aid non profit organizations to receive $3 million for representation for immigrant minors

Governor Jerry Brown on Saturday signed a bill providing $3 million in legal services for unaccompanied minors arriving illegally in the state from Central America.

A bill signed by Gov. Jerry Brown providing $3 million for legal services for unaccompanied immigrant minors arriving illegally from Central America is not enough to meet demand, attorneys in the legal aid community say.
