Kirkland & Ellis LLP represented San Francisco-based private equity firm Vista Equity Partners in its $4.3 billion take-private acquisition of business software maker Tibco Software Inc., a deal announced Monday that analysts said was somewhat predictable given the company's yearlong stock price slump and pressure from at least one activist investor.
