Alioto loses another legal fight with his lender

Plaintiffs' lawyer Joseph M. Alioto Jr. must pay more than $31 million of an attorney fee award to his lender, a San Francisco County judge has tentatively ruled.

SAN FRANCISCO- Plaintiffs' lawyer Joseph M. Alioto Jr. must pay more than $31 million of an attorney fee award to his lender, a San Francisco County judge has tentatively ruled.


The decision by Superior Court Judge James J. McBride comes after a short bench trial this week that accused LFG National Capital LLC of interfering with contract negotiations between Alioto and other lenders.
