Appellate Justice Sills To Retire

Justice David G. Sills, the presiding justice of the 4th District Court of Appeal in Santa Ana for the last 21 years, will retire on June 1.

SANTA ANA - Justice David G. Sills, the presiding justice of the 4th District Court of Appeal in Santa Ana for the past 21 years, will retire on June 1.


Sills, 73, said he had been planning for some time on stepping down this year and recently set a date.


"I've been working since the fall of 1953," he said.
