A Santa Barbara based wind energy developer has approved a deal to sell four gigawatts of wind energy projects to a Canadian company.
The seller, Champlin/GEI Wind Holdings LLC, will transfer its pipeline of North American wind projects - in California, Hawaii and Utah - to Western Wind Energy Corp., a Vancouver-based wind energy company. Western Wind Energy announced the deal late Tuesday.
