Intellectual Ventures, Nvidia acquire 500 patents

Washington-based Intellectual Ventures LLC, a major patent purchasing company, and Silicon Valley graphics processing giant Nvidia Corp. announced Monday they had partnered to purchase approximately 500 mobile technology patents from IPWireless Inc., a San Francisco technology company.
