LOS ANGELES - Beginning today, Los Angeles County Superior Court no longer will provide stenographic court reporters for civil trials in an attempt to save money.
Although the change has been in the works for two months, it is expected to still cause pain around the state's largest trial court and attorney associations are scrambling to inform members.
