BROOK - The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation tribe decided to focus on current operations of its Cache Creek Casino Resort rather than continue with its plans to triple the size of the facility.
According to The Associated Press, the tribe announced Oct. 6 that due to the economic downturn, it has withdrawn plans to add more than 450 new hotel rooms, a 62,500-square-foot event center and additional dining, shopping and gambling space.
