Trial Lawyer Faces Theft Charges

Veteran San Diego trial lawyer David G. Ronquillo has been charged with five felony counts stemming from allegations that he stole money from his clients.

SAN DIEGO - Veteran San Diego trial lawyer David G. Ronquillo has been charged with five felony counts stemming from allegations that he stole money from his clients.

According to the San Diego County District Attorney's Office, Ronquillo, 64, who was arrested by investigators at his Escondido home on Friday, pleaded not guilty Monday in Superior Court.
