Ex-Brocade CEO Will Ask Judge to Toss Case

Lawyers for former Brocade Communications Systems CEO Gregory Reyes will ask a federal judge on Friday to dismiss most of the civil case against him, arguing that investors did not care about the alleged backdating of employee stock-options grants. Attorneys involved in other backdating cases are watching the outcome closely.
