Police Chief Reassigns Eight Officers After Videotaped Beating

LOS ANGELES - Eight Los Angeles police officers from the Southeast division have been reassigned to administrative positions outside their station until authorities complete an investigation into the videotaped beating of an unarmed black car-thief suspect, police Chief William Bratton said Thursday.
