Maligned Doctor Awarded $4.3M

SAN FRANCISCO - A federal jury has hit San Francisco and Laguna Honda Hospital with a $4.3 million verdict, finding the hospital violated a doctor's free speech rights by filing a false and defamatory report about him in response to his criticism of physician layoffs.
