Litigator Negotiates $45 Million Insurance Settlement
Century City litigator Brian Davidoff recently negotiated a $45 million insurance settlement for furnace contractor J.T. Thorpe. The settlement, which was approved by federal bankruptcy judge Sheri Bluebond on May 28, stems from the thorny field of asbestos liability, where a building material used widely for decades was later discovered to cause cancer and serious lung disease.
