Panel Remands Asylum Request Of Rape Victim
LOS ANGELES - A federal appeals court Monday ordered an immigration court to reconsider asylum on political or humanitarian grounds for a Guatemalan woman who was gang-raped as part of a campaign by the Guatemalan military to punish her village, considered a guerilla stronghold.
