Eight cases enough to disbar foreclosure lawyer, judge rules

Gary David Tracy was a "figurehead" for nonlawyers running a foreclosure-rescue mill and should be disbarred, a State Bar Court judge ruled in eight discipline cases. The judge stayed action on 16 additional cases.

An Ontario lawyer facing 24 separate discipline cases accusing him of defrauding clients in foreclosure should be disbarred for what he did in just eight of the cases - without bothering to go to trial on the rest, a State Bar Court judge has decided.
