State high court judge's son being considered for Alameda County bench

Jason Chin, son of state Supreme Court Justice Ming Chin, is being vetted for a superior court judgeship in Alameda County.

SAN FRANCISCO - Jason Chin, son of state Supreme Court Justice Ming Chin, is being vetted for a superior court judgeship in Alameda County.


Chin, 38, confirmed his application but declined to comment for the story.


A graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law, Chin has worked for 10 years at the Alameda County district attorney's office.
