Judge throws out malpractice claims aganist BB&K

A California judge on Monday tossed claims of malpractice by former city of Bell officials against Best Best & Krieger LLP, ruling that the claims weren't specific enough.

A California judge on this week tossed claims of malpractice by former city of Bell officials against Best Best & Krieger LLP, ruling that the claims weren't specific enough but giving them time to amend their complaint.


The ruling is the latest in a four-year municipal fraud case that started with a newspaper investigation and ended with several Bell officials behind bars.
