Wal-Mart settles online DVD rental antitrust claims

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. agreed to pay $27.3 million to resolve allegations it conspired with Netflix Inc. to divide the market for DVD sales and online rentals in the United States.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. agreed to pay $27.3 million to resolve allegations it conspired with Netflix Inc. to divide the market for DVD sales and online rentals in the United States, causing higher prices, according to documents filed Friday in the Northern District.
